Higgins wide range of black and white inks gives the artist full control over their tonality. Our darkest ink, Black Magic has a deep, velvety black color straight out of the bottle. India Ink is a favorite among artists and illustrators for its deep, neutral charcoal tone that breathes life into drawings. Non-waterproof black is a warm black that allows the artist to lightly blend and lift color for realistic effects. Our newest black ink is a high-flowing acrylic that can be added to traditional acrylic painting mediums or used alone.

These opaque colors are excellent for special effects. Any of the standard Higgins Acrylic Inks can be added to the Iridescent White to create pearlescent colors. The metallics stand on their own and complement our other Higgins Inks, especially black.
