Made in the Koshu district near Mt. Fuji Japan. Koshu is known for producing authentic, high-quality Japanese paper. Gasen is a very resilient pulp-based paper, lightly sized to allow finer detail for ink painting, watercolor, Suminagashi (Japanese marbling), calligraphy, and block printing.
